FLOOR CLOTHS - How I make them

The steps are easy enough. It just takes a lot of time and patience, not to mention artistry :)

1. On the back of a very high-quality sheet of vinyl flooring, I prepare the surface by painting two coats of a Primer/Sealer.

2. Then I paint two or more coats (depending on the color) of latex paint as the main background color.

3. Then the real creativity begins. I paint the various designs using acrylic paints!

4. To finish it, I apply minimum of 3-4 smooth coats of polyurethane. This protects it while giving it a lovely durable satin finish.
